Danijel Petrović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Данијел Петровић , born November 27, 1992 in Linz ) is a Serbian - Austrian football player . He has been under contract with SKN St. Pölten since 2015 .

Career

Petrović began his career at ATSV St. Martin near Traun. In 2003 he moved to FC Pasching . In January 2012 he switched to SK Vorwärts Steyr . In the summer he moved to USK Anif . In January 2013 he moved to SC Ritzing . In the summer he moved to FC Blau-Weiß Linz . In 2014 he returned to Steyr . In 2015 he moved to the professional club SKN St. Pölten. He made his professional debut on matchday 9 in 2015/16 against Floridsdorfer AC . In a 3-0 win over Floridsdorfer AC he received the fastest red card in the history of Austrian professional football on April 12, 2016 , when he pulled the opposing striker Maximilian Entrup by the jersey after 19 seconds . In 2016 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with SKN St. Pölten .

After 73 first and second division appearances for the Lower Austrians, he left the club after the 2019/20 season.
