Danilo Desideri

Danilo Desideri (born July 13, 1940 in Rome ) is an Italian cameraman .

Life

Desideri started his professional career in 1960 as assistant camera to Tonino Delli Colli and Gianni di Venanzo . In 1962 he made his debut as a simple cameraman with “ Il mare ” and was involved in this function in Elio Petri's “ Two coffins on order ” and Luchino Visconti's “ The Stranger ” . Immediately thereafter, Danilo Desideri from Lazio (Rome) made his debut as chief cameraman. His early work included commercials for renowned cinema directors such as the Taviani brothers Paolo and Vittorio and Mauro Bolognini . For the cinema he shot almost exclusively low-quality comedy entertainment with stars typical of the genre such as Adriano Celentano , Renato Pozzetto and Carlo Verdone .
