Danny Lee (born February 6, 1962 in Redhill ) is a former English squash player .

Career

Danny Lee was active as a squash player in the 1980s and 1990s and in May 1985 achieved his highest ranking in the world rankings with rank 30. During his junior years he played several times for the English national team . From 1982 to 1986 he was five times in a row in the main draw of the World Cup . His best performance was reaching the round of 16 in 1984 and 1986.

During his career, which was marked by health problems, Lee began to hold squash tournaments and establish a training program for juniors in Surrey . After the end of his career as a player, he pushed this work even further. Among other things, he has been the tournament director for the St George's Hill Open since 2015 . He has three children who all also play squash. While his daughter plays at the county level, his sons Joe and Charlie are active at the professional level.
