Danny Lee Sau-Yin
Danny Lee Sau-Yin ( Chinese 李修賢 / 李修贤 , Pinyin Lǐ Xiūxián , W.-G. Li 3 Hsiu 1 -hsien 2 , Jyutping Lei 5 Sau 1 jin 4 , Cantonese Lee Sau-Yin , born August 6, 1952 in Shanghai , China ) is a Chinese actor , film producer , screenwriter , director , cameraman and show master based in Hong Kong . Lee began his career as a candidate actor in 1970 in the Shaw Brothers Company (now TVB ) acting training program . After successful graduation Lee found his first important role in 1972 in the film "The seven blows of the yellow dragon" (original title: The Water Margin , 水滸傳 / 水浒传 - " The robbers of Liang-Schan-Moor "), a literary story of the Folk Tales in Ancient China. Lee received the first leading role in 1973 in the film "The yellow men with their fists flying" (Original: River of Fury , 江湖 行 ). Encouraged by his success in the Hong Kong film industry , he founded his own production company in 1978 and began his career as a director and producer in 1981 with the debut film "One Way Only". Lee is best known for his roles as a police officer and inspector in the Hong Kong films .
