Danny Pfeil (born March 1, 1969 ) is a German racing driver and entrepreneur.

Career

Danny Pfeil began his racing career in the mid- 1980s in karting .

In 1991 he switched to formula racing and drove two seasons in Formula Opel and ended the 1992 season in fourth place. At the same time, he competed in the German Formula 3 Cup from 1991 to 1993 . His best placement there was in 1993 in 17th place in the annual ranking.

As of the 1994 season, Pfeil no longer competed in formula racing and drove in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany until 1996, where he achieved his best result of the season in 1996 with fourth place. In 1994 he started for the Mühlbauer Motorsport team in the 1000 km race in Paris in the International GT Endurance Series and, with his team colleagues in a Porsche 964 Carrera RSR 3.8, finished third in the overall standings and second in the GT3 class . In the same year he was registered for the Alfa Romeo Team Engstler for the DTM round at the Norisring - but did not start.

In 1995, he also competed in a number of races in the ADAC GT Cup for the BERU Zündtechnik Racing Team in parallel to the Porsche Carrera Cup .

In the 1997 season he drove an Alfa Romeo 155 TS in the Super Touring Car Cup and finished it in 31st place. Then he ended his active racing career.

From 2011 to 2015 Danny Pfeil was team boss of the Ferrari private team GT-Corse, which competed in the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring and from 2014 also in the Blancpain Endurance Series GT3 racing cars based on the Ferrari F430 and later the Ferrari 458 .

He is the managing director of a company for motor sport courses, events and racing car rental.
