Danny Richter (born June 20, 1973 in Leipzig ) is a German actor , musician and lyricist. He grew up in the GDR and lived there in Leipzig and Bad Sulza (Thuringia). From there, he attended the special class for music education at the Pforta State School .

Two years after the family moved to West Germany, he dropped out of high school and worked so that he could concentrate on his artistic work. At the same time, he continued to take acting lessons, began training as an insurance salesman, and wrote the gags as a guest author for RTL Saturday Night , The Harald Schmidt Show and befriended cabaret artists. His work took him to Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands and Australia.
