Danuta Bartoszek
Danuta Bartoszek (born August 19, 1961 in Pyrzyce ) is a former Canadian marathon runner of Polish origin.
She won the Toronto Half Marathon three times (1995, 1997, 1999). In 1993 she finished third in the River Bank Run , and in 1998 she won the Around the Bay Road Race .
In 1992 she finished second in the Toronto Marathon . The following year she was fifth at the Houston Marathon , but did not reach the goal at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart .
In 1994 she was again second in Toronto and in 1995 third in the Chicago Marathon . In 1996 she came in 32nd place at the Olympic Games in Atlanta and was again third in Chicago. At the 1997 World Cup in Athens, she came in 49th.
In 2000 she won the Niagara Falls Marathon. In 2001, she was the overall winner of the Ottawa Marathon national champion and finished 43rd at the World Championships in Edmonton .
