Darren Corstens (born October 18, 1990 in Adelaide ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Adelaide Adrenaline in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2012 .

Career

Darren Corstens began his career as a hockey player in his hometown Adelaide with the local first division club Adelaide Adrenaline . In 2011 he moved to Finland in the II-divisioona , where he played for Viikingit . In April 2012, he returned to Adelaide to play again for his home club in the beginning of the Australian winter, for which he has played in the Australian Ice Hockey League since then .

International

For Australia Corstens was for the first time at the World Cup of Division II 2013 in his country's squad and scored one in the 2-3 after penalty shootout against Iceland and two hits in the 3-1 against Belgium .
