action
Max and Wanda got a divorce. After the breakup, Max realizes how much he misses his former partner and he decides to win her back. He sends his colleague Ludorf to Wanda, who identifies himself as a criminalist and pretends to be looking for Max. Max later shows up and persuades Wanda to hide him from the police in her apartment. In the following days he tries to win Wanda back. Wanda's new friend Bibow doesn't like it, and he reports the hiding place of the supposedly wanted man to the police, who do not intervene because there is nothing against Max. Max and Wanda get closer, remember their relationship and the reasons for their separation. In the end, Wanda separates from Bibow, but does not continue the relationship with Max either.
criticism
“A psychologically sensitive film that tries to weigh up the points of view fairly and tells its modern relationship story against the background of the social conditions in the GDR. Captivating above all because of the lively game and the subtle irony. Because Manfred Krug left for Germany, the film was banned for almost two years and then only started with a few copies. "
“Played sensitively and intensely. Great."
