Traci, an innocent-looking girl, seeks love from her mother Dana, a former actress. Dana took the blame for an accident in which her husband died when in truth Traci was guilty. For this Dana was sentenced to prison and received no roles after her release.
Dana founds a wine-growing company together with Carl Krieger. Traci is dissatisfied when Dana meets Carl privately. She tries to disrupt Dana and Carl's relationship.
Reviews
At Rotten Tomatoes it is said that the "creepy sexy thriller" shows extreme behaviors that result from the desired closeness to one's own mother. Prisma called the film "a hearty TV melodrama" that "offers genre-typical entertainment despite some improbabilities".
