action

Anton Schöllhöfer came from the simplest of backgrounds to become a wealthy manufacturer. He has now retired, which does not detract from his standard of living as he has amassed enough wealth. Schöllhöfer has always believed that money rules the world and that those who don't do it like him are stupid. He also tells everyone that, whether he wants to hear it or not. Schöllhöfer has a son and a daughter. His son Max completed an engineering degree and then went traveling. He lives well on his father's money, who has no objection to it, because after all you have it. When Max looks around for a job, his father lets him go. The young man describes himself as a socialist and is of the opinion that his father indirectly stole the money he has from the workers who should have been forced to pay for it. However, Max ignores the fact that he lives very well from this money.

Anton Schoell Höfer, a good deal of shrewdness be called self, now takes the decision to lead his impressionable son in mind, what happens if he without the money his father has to make do. So he claims that he had speculated on his fortune and that it is now up to Max to support him and his sister with the work of his own hands. Franzi Schöllhofer, contrary to expectations, copes well with the situation, but with Max it looks very different. He, of all people, is unable to put on the “rough shirt” that his father intended for him. Max is very happy and only comes to life again when his father confesses to him that he has only been fooling him and that the property is still available.
