Fritz Alberti

Fritz Alberti (born October 22, 1877 in Hanau , † September 15, 1954 in Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

He studied at the Technical University of Berlin , the building trades, worked in construction and was 1904-1907 Regierungsbauführer . In 1906 he decided to become an actor and appeared in Kassel and at the Mannheim National Theater . In 1922 he came to Berlin.

Soon after, Alberti also received film roles and became a frequently used supporting actor. In 1928 alone he acted in ten different films. In addition, he continued to be on stage, for example at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm .

In 1935 he ended his acting career and became chief treasurer of the NSBO film department. In this function, he reprimanded, among other things, insufficiently compliant artists and checked requests for financial support from the Goebbels Foundation "Künstlerdank".

After the end of the war, Alberti did not return to the stage, but worked as a voice actor and acting teacher.
