David Alerte
David Alerte (born September 18, 1984 in La Trinité ) is a French sprinter .
At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he took part in the 4 x 100 meter relay , but retired with the French team in the preliminary run.
In 2005 he won the U23 European Championships in Erfurt , he won the title over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay. At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki he was eliminated over 200 m in the preliminary run. In 2006 he was seventh over 200 m at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg and won the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay together with Oudéré Kankarafou , Ronald Pognon and Fabrice Calligny .
At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin and at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona, he finished eighth over 200 m.
In 2006 and 2007 he was national champion over 200 m.
David Alerte is 1.92 m tall and weighs 83 kg.
