Career
Started his career at Millwall FC
The Nigerian Amoo began his active career with a well-known football club in 2003 when he was accepted into the youth department of Millwall FC . After he was trained in offensive positions at the London club and scored nine goals in 20 youth league games in his last season at Millwall, he made the leap into the youth of Liverpool in summer 2007 . The parties agreed not to disclose the transfer fee or the training compensation. In an interview, Millwall coach at the time, Willie Donachie , said that Amoo is a great talent and that if he had stayed with the club, he would have made it to the senior Millwall squad. After he had played through a few youth league classes and had shown himself to be a very strong attacking player at the academy, he made the leap into the professional squad of Liverpool FC for the first time in 2009. Before that, however, he made it to the finals of the FA Youth Cup 2009 with the U-18 academy team of Liverpool FC ; throughout the championship, Amoo scored twelve goals for the team this season.
Professional debut at Liverpool FC and loan to MK Dons, Hull and Bury
In September 2009, Amoo was appointed by Rafael Benítez to the professional squad of Liverpool FC, which took part in the 2009/10 Champions League season . As a result of the fact that Amoo did not yet have the opportunity to prove himself for the professional team, let alone assert himself against the Argentine international and Maxi Rodríguez , who competed on the right wing , Amoo's professional debut only followed in the following year 2010. That year He also signed a new professional contract with Liverpool FC, dated for two more years, which would keep him until 2012. Amoo, who was born in Southwark , a small district of London , finally made his professional debut on August 29, 2010 in the third qualifying round for the 2010/11 Europa League against the Macedonian club Rabotnički Skopje , after having played again the day before Professional squad was brought in. In the game he was in action from the start and was replaced by Nathan Eccleston after a good performance in the 83rd minute . After that, Amoo spent most of his time in the club's reserve team, where one of the regulars comes regularly to his assignments.
On January 25, 2011 a loan change Amoos to the Milton Keynes Dons with play in the Football League One , the third highest division in English football announced; His loan contract there runs until February 23, 2011. His debut with the MK Dons and thus his professional league debut was the agile offensive player in the 2-2 away draw of the Dons against Leyton Orient , when he played for Lewis in the 65th minute of the game Guy came out on the lawn.
On February 28, 2011, it was awarded to Hull City through the end of the season. He made his debut in the league game against Nottingham Forest . He scored his first goal on April 25, 2011.
In September 2011, Amoo was loaned to Bury FC until the end of the year. During the winter break, the loan business was extended until the end of the season on June 30, 2012.
