David Cerrajería Rubio (born August 4, 1983 in Valencia ) is a former Spanish football player .

Career

David Cerra, his footballer's name, moved from Alicante CF to Valencia's second team, Valencia FC B , in 2005 . After he had played exclusively for the B team in his first season, he was allowed to compete in the first team for the injured Asier del Horno and Emiliano Moretti in 2006/2007 . Thus, David Cerra came to five appearances in the Primera División and one in the Champions League . In order to gain match practice, Cerra was loaned to Poli Ejido for the 2007/2008 season, but things didn't go well for him there either, so that he only made four appearances after the first half of the season. In the second half of the season he was a regular in the defense, but could not prevent relegation from the Segunda División.

After the loan ended, he moved to the then second division UD Levante in summer 2008 . There he was still a regular in the 2008/09 season . In the course of the 2009/10 season , his missions became less frequent. He was used 15 times and rose with his team at the end of the season in the Primera División . In the 2010/11 season he was only used irregularly. After three years he left Levante and joined the second division FC Córdoba . There he made twelve appearances in the first half of the 2011/12 season , but then lost his place in the squad. Three more missions followed by the end of the season. In the following season he was no longer considered and terminated his contract in January 2013.

Cerra was without a club for half a year before joining AO Platanias in the Greek Super League in the summer of 2013 . There he missed two thirds of the 2013/14 season after two starting eleven at the beginning . Only towards the end of the season he came on as a substitute. After a year he left the club. He was without a club for 18 months before the Romanian second division team Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț took him under contract. He ended his career there in 2016.
