David Havíř (born April 18, 1975 in Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech ice hockey player who was active for many years at HC Znojemští Orli , HC Plzeň 1929 and HC Moeller Pardubice in the Czech extra league. With Pardubice and Plzeň he won a total of four Czech championship titles .

Career

David Havíř began his career at HC Kometa Brno , with whom he was relegated to the first division in 1996 . He then moved to France to EH Viry-Châtillon . In 1998 he returned to the Czech Republic and went on the ice for HC Excalibur Znojemští Orli over the next six years . With the team from Znojmo succeeded in the spring 1999 promotion to the extra league . In 2004 he was signed by HC Moeller Pardubice and won the Czech championship in 2005 with his new club . After six years, he left the team and joined the 2010/11 season the KLH Chomutov from the first league to. As a loan player, he also came to an assignment for HC Energie Karlovy Vary in the extra league.

At the beginning of the 2011/12 season Havíř was initially loaned to HC Plzeň in 1929 from the Extraliga, later to HC Pardubice. Since he was eligible to play for both Pardubice and the Piráti Chomutov , he was used in the extraliga and first division playoffs and won the championship title with both teams. In addition, he then made promotion with the Piráti from the 1st division to the extra division. After these successes, he received a two-year contract with the Bílí Tygři Liberec and was loaned to HC Plzeň again in January 2013. With the HC Plzeň he won another championship title at the end of the season.

Between 2013 and 2016 Havíř ended his career at VSK Technika Brno in the third class 2nd česká hokejová liga before ending his career.

International

David Havíř has played five international matches for the Czech Republic in which he failed to score a point.
