The 2010/11 season was the 18th regular staging of the second highest Czech ice hockey league, the 1st česká hokejová league . The champions were HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi , who defeated KLH Chomutov in the playoff final with a sweep in the best-of-seven series. The HC Chrudim got out of the first league and was then dissolved, as was the HC Vrchlabí . HC Most and Salith Šumperk were promoted from the 2nd division .

mode

In 30 games of the main round, all teams play against each other twice, each team initially has 15 home and 15 away games. The teams in places 1 to 8 qualify for group A of the intermediate round, while the remaining eight teams form group B. In the two groups, taking the points from the main round with them, a further round is played with one home and one away game per opponent. In Group A, the first four teams qualify directly for the play-offs, which are played in the best-of-seven mode. The teams ranked 5 to 8 play with the first four teams in Group B, the other four playoff spots in the best of five from. The last two teams in Group B play a league relegation against the three season winners of the 2nd division . The two best teams in the relegation qualify for the first division of the following season.

In the playoff final, HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi clearly won 4-0 and thus achieved the fourth championship title of the first division in the club's history. In addition, the club qualified for the extraliga relegation against BK Mladá Boleslav .

This means that IHC KOMTERM Písek and HC Chrudim are relegated from the 1st division. Their places were taken by HC Most and Salith Šumperk in the 2011/12 season . HC Chrudim broke up after relegation for financial reasons, while IHC KOMTERM Písek acquired the 1st league license from HC Vrchlabí and thus remained in the league. Then the HC Vrchlabí was also dissolved.
