The 2006/07 season was the 14th regular staging of the first division , the second Czech ice hockey division . In the playoffs, the HC Slovan Ústí nad Labem prevailed, who rose directly to the extra league. Because of the league expansion to 16 teams for the following season there was no relegation.

In the main round, each of the 14 teams played a total of 52 games. The eight best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs. The season ended prematurely for the teams in positions 9 to 14. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, and one point for a defeat after overtime. No points were awarded for a defeat after normal time.
