David Lichtenhahn

David Lichtenhahn (* approx. 1657 in Schneeberg ( Erzgebirgskreis ); † May 10, 1733 , location unknown) was a German physician, princely Saxon physician from Merseburg and a member of the Leopoldina academy of scholars .

David Lichtenhahn enrolled at the University of Leipzig in 1671. He worked in Merseburg , Delitzsch and Bitterfeld . From 1699 he was the Princely Saxon Merseburg personal physician.

His son, Christian August Lichtenhahn, was born in Bitterfeld. He studied medicine in Halle an der Saale and also became a doctor.

On November 26, 1699, David Lichtenhahn with the academic surname Cleombrotus I was accepted as a member ( matriculation no. 240 ) in the Leopoldina . He was a member of the medicine section.
