David Wiethaus

Heinrich David Reinhard Wiethaus (born May 15, 1768 in Unna , † November 27, 1854 in Hamm ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

David Wiethaus was born as the son of councilor David Anton Eberhard Wiethaus and Helene Maria Johanna geb. Wülfing. He studied law at the University of Halle . In 1790 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Halle . In the same year he passed the auscultator exam and got a job as an auscultator with the government in Kleve. In 1792 he became a trainee lawyer and was entrusted with the office of district judge in Kleve. In 1793 he became chamber assistant at the Hammer Chamber Justice Deputation, in March 1794 Justice Mayor and one month later the Mayor of Hamm. In 1804 he became war and domain councilor at the chamber in Hamm and legal advisor of the Westphalian saltworks management. In 1805 he was appointed Land Syndic of the Brandenburg knighthood. In 1809 he was appointed sub-prefect of the Hamm arrondissement . From about 1813 he was provisional and from February 1817 he was definitely district administrator of the Hamm district . At the beginning of 1836 he was released from civil service at his own request for health reasons.

Wiethaus was married to the daughter of Hammer Mayor Wilhelmine Kuisa Keller (1769–1847).
