Debbi Lawrence

Debbi Lawrence (actually Deborah A. Lawrence, nee Spino; born October 15, 1961 in Columbus , Indiana ) is a former American walker .

At the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 , she came in 20th place in the 10 km walk.

In 1991 she won silver in the 10,000-meter walk at the Pan American Games in Havana and finished 19th at the World Cup in Tokyo over 10 km.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, she came 26th over 10 km .

In 1993 she was disqualified in the 3,000-meter walk of the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Toronto and took 37th place at the World Championships in Stuttgart over 10 km.

Over 10 km a 24th place at the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg was followed by a 20th place at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

In the 20 km walk she finished 44th at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and 19th at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton.
