Deborah van Daelen (born March 24, 1989 in Zwolle ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Van Daelen started her career in 2005 at VC Weert . She made her debut for the Dutch national team three years later. In 2010 the middle blocker became Dutch runner-up with the club. In the following season, VC Weert won the championship and cup double. Then van Daelen moved to the French club Pays D'Ax Venelles . In 2012 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Allianz MTV Stuttgart . Her trainer there, Jan Lindenmair , retrained her from being a middle blocker to a diagonal attacker. In 2014 van Daelen left the club and played briefly in Italy for Pallavolo Scandicci . After a year-long break, she returned to Allianz MTV Stuttgart in 2015. Here she became German runner- up in 2016 and won the VBL Supercup . In 2017 and 2018 she was runner-up again. In 2019 she won the German championship with Allianz MTV Stuttgart.
