Deirdre Lorenz (* in Oregon ) is an American actress , film producer and model .

Life and accomplishments

Lorenz grew up with her twin sister in Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University with a degree in management . She then moved to New York City , where she took acting classes at the Ensemble Studios Theater and Stella Adler Studios . During this time she worked as a model; her photos appeared on the cover of New York Magazine , among others .

Lorenz made her debut as an actress in an episode of the television series Sex and the City from 2002. In the film drama Club of the Caesars (2002) she appeared on the side of Kevin Kline and Emile Hirsch . In the comedy Focus Room (2003) she took on a bigger role, she also worked as a producer. In the biopic El Cantante (2006) with Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez , she played the friend of Willie Colón ( John Ortiz ). In the comedy Copy That (2006) she played one of the bigger roles on the side of Ice-T and Stephanie March , and she was again active as a producer. The release of the drama Santorini Blue , in which she played one of the two leading roles, was planned for 2009, but was delayed until 2013. In the same year, she directed the television film Nobody , for which she also wrote the screenplay and stood as an actor in front of the camera.

The actress lives in New York City.
