Career

Dejan Grabič began his career in his home country with NK Olimpija Ljubljana , for which he played in the professional team from 1999 to 2004. In 2001 and 2002 he was awarded to FC Ljubljana at short notice . In the summer of 2004 he left Slovenia and joined the Austrian club SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz . With the Vorarlbergers he played 20 games in the Bundesliga , but could not score a goal and had to relegate with the club to the first division , the second highest division in Austrian football. Since the club had to be dissolved due to financial problems, he left Bregenz after one season and moved back to Slovenia and signed with NK Bela krajina . After another year he transferred to NK Domžale .

In the 2007/08 season he reached the team in the first qualifying round for the UEFA Champions League, in which the team defeated the Albanian representative KF Tirana in two games . Grabič also played both games in the second round, this time against Dinamo Zagreb , and was eliminated from the competition after two defeats. The next transfer followed in summer 2008 and the midfielder moved to Interblock Ljubljana . Also with Ljubljana he reached the qualifying games for international competition, but only in the Uefa Cup. In the second round, the team lost to the German representative Hertha BSC in two games. In the summer of 2009 he left Slovenia again and signed a contract with the Cypriot club APOP Kinyras Peyias until the end of the season.
