The dean's office in Bad Dürkheim is one of ten dean's offices in the Speyer diocese . It covers an area from Neustadt an der Weinstrasse in the south to Bockenheim an der Weinstrasse in the north and roughly covers the Bad Dürkheim district and parts of the Donnersberg district around Eisenberg (Palatinate) .

Until January 1, 2016, the Dean's Office Bad Dürkheim consisted of three parish communities with 38 parishes and three curatios:

  • Bad Dürkheim with the parishes Bad Dürkheim, Dackenheim, Deidesheim, Forst, Freinsheim, Grethen, Haßloch (St. Gallus), Haßloch (St. Ulrich) Meckenheim, Niederkirchen, Ruppertsberg and Wachenheim
  • Grünstadt with the parishes of Altleiningen, Bockenheim, Boßweiler, Carlsberg, Dirmstein, Eisenberg, Großkarlbach, Grünstadt, Hettenleidelheim, Laumersheim, Neuleiningen, Ramsen and Wattenheim
  • Neustadt with the parishes of Diedesfeld, Elmstein, Esthal, Geinsheim, Hambach, Königsbach, Lachen-Speyerdorf, Lambrecht, Lindenberg, Mußbach, Neidenfels, Neustadt (St. Josef), Neustadt (St. Marien), Neustadt (St. Pius), Speyerbrunn and Weidenthal

With the structural reform in the Diocese of Speyer on January 1, 2016, the three parish communities were dissolved and converted into eight unified parishes. The former parishes of Böhl and Iggelheim moved from the dean's office in Ludwigshafen to the dean's office in Bad Dürkheim. The following eight parishes have existed since then:
