The Marburg-Amöneburg deanery is one of ten deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Fulda . It roughly includes the Marburg-Biedenkopf district and the former Frankenberg district . It borders in the east on the Fritzlar deanery , in the south on the diocese of Mainz , in the west on the diocese of Limburg and in the north on the archbishopric Paderborn . The dean is Franz Langstein (Marburg), his deputy is Marcus Vogler (Amöneburg).
history
With the reform of the deanery on April 1, 2007, the deanery Marburg-Amöneburg was re-established as one of ten deaneries of the diocese of Fulda. It is congruent with the two previous dean's offices that gave it its name.
