Del Moore
Del Moore (born May 14, 1916 in Pensacola , Florida , † August 30, 1970 in Encino , California ) was an American actor and comedian .
Life
Del Moore first worked as a radio announcer in California . When the new medium of television established itself in the early 1950s, Moore also took on a number of roles there. He was seen from 1951 as the husband of Betty White in the series Life with Elizabeth . He later made a name for himself primarily as a comedian and supporting actor in films with Jerry Lewis .
Del Moore died of a heart attack in 1970 at the age of 54. He was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles .
