The Delegate River is a river in the Australian states of Victoria and New South Wales and a tributary of the Snowy River .

It rises on the northern slopes of the Errinundra Plateau in the eastern Gippsland and initially flows north. After crossing the New South Wales border, it turns east and flows through the small town of Delegate . There it turns north again and shortly before its confluence with the Snowy River near Tombong to the west.
