The Brodribb River is a river in eastern Gippsland in the Australian state of Victoria .

It is created by the confluence of the two headwaters Brodribb River North Branch and Brodribb River South Branch west of the Errinundra National Park . Both source rivers originate in the park, the latter below Mount Ellery .

The Brodribb River flows 105 kilometers through the largely uninhabited foothills to the south and flows into the Snowy River at Tabbara near Orbost . Shortly before its mouth, it flows through Lake Curlip .

Surname

The river was named after William Adams Brodribb , an early settler.
