Denis Lawson
Denis Lawson (born September 27, 1947 in Crieff , Perth and Kinross ) is a Scottish actor and theater actor.
Life
Denis Lawson is best known for his roles as Wedge Antilles in the original Star Wars trilogy and as hotel owner and attorney Gordon Urquhart in the British comedy Local Hero . He is a busy television actor. He also completed his first directorial work in 2002, a short film based on Ian McEwan's short story Solid Geometry, starring his nephew Ewan McGregor .
Lawson was married to actress Sheila Gish from 2004 until her death in 2005 . The two had previously been in a relationship for more than 20 years. He has a child from a previous relationship.
