Denis Maratowitsch Abdullin ( Russian Денис Маратович Абдуллин ; born January 1, 1985 in Magnitogorsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Vitjas Podolsk in the Continental Hockey League and at the same time with the THK Tver in the Vysschaya Hockey League was used.

Career

Denis Abdullin began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth division of HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . For his second team, the attacker played for two and a half years in the third-rate Pervaya League before moving to Molot-Prikamje Perm during the 2004/05 season, for which he made his debut in the Russian Super League . After he had started the following season at HK Traktor Chelyabinsk in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga , he finished it at HK Lada Tolyatti from the Super League, which also won the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in 2006 . Following this success he signed with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk, where he started his career, but only made eight appearances for its professional team, so he signed with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk .

Abdullin spent the 2007/08 season at his ex-club HK Lada Tolyatti. In his first full season as a professional, he scored ten goals in 48 games and prepared another nine. For the following season , the Russian was committed by HK MWD Balaschicha from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . There he was only used in 22 games, in which he posted two goals and an assist, and was used in parallel for the club's second team. After he could not fight for a regular place in the 2009/10 season , he was loaned to the THK Tver from the Wysschaja League after two games . In December 2009 he moved to Amur Khabarovsk , for which he completed 19 games in the KHL.

He spent the 2010/11 season with his hometown club before he was signed by Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in August 2011 . For Yekaterinburg he completed 51 KHL games in which he collected 19 points scorer. In May 2012 he moved within the KHL to Ak Bars Kazan , for which he completed 28 KHL games until October 2013, before moving to HK Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Between 2015 and 2017 he was under contract with Vitjas Podolsk and played at the same time at THK Tver in the Vysschaya Hockey League .
