Denis Olegowitsch Kurepanow ( Russian Денис Олегович Курепанов ; born March 30, 1988 in Barnaul , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Sputnik Nizhny Tagil in the Wysschaja Hockey League since January 2016 .

Career

Denis Kurepanow began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Salawat Yulayev Ufa , for whose second team he was active from 2003 to 2007 in the third-rate Pervaya League . In the 2007/08 season , the attacker played for the professional team of Salawat's cooperation partner Toros Neftekamsk from the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. After another year with Salawat's second team in the Pervaya league, he ran in the 2009/10 season for the junior team Tolpar Ufa in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . He spent the 2010/11 season at the PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League .

For the 2011/12 season Kurepanow was committed by Metallurg Novokuznetsk from the Continental Hockey League . At the same time he plays for his farm team Jermak Angarsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League.
