Denis Sergejewitsch Kostin ( Russian Денис Сергеевич Костин ; born June 21, 1995 in Omsk ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with HK Avangard Omsk in the Continental Hockey League since May 2019 and is used at Ischstal Ischewsk .

Career

Denis Kostin comes from the Omskije Jastreby junior team in the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League . During the 2013/14 season he made his debut in the KHL for HK Awangard Omsk .

Between 2016 and 2018 he played mainly with the farm team of Awangard, the HK Sary-Arka Karaganda , in the Wysschaja Hockey League . In July 2018 he left his hometown club and was replaced by Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , for whom he completed twelve KHL games and was used at the same time at HK Sarov in the Wysschaja Hockey League. In May 2019 Kostin returned to Awangard.

Kostin represented his country at the U20 World Cup 2015 at U20 level and won the silver medal with the Russian team .
