The monument is since 1994 every two years in Leipzig held fair .

The leading European trade fair for monument preservation, restoration and renovation of old buildings unites national and international experts in monument preservation and many other interested parties under one roof . This includes archaeologists , restorers , architects and planners, civil engineers as well as art historians , craftsmen , local politicians , building material manufacturers , builders , investors and owners of historic buildings, art and culture lovers.

The monument to diverse interrelated issues into account conservation and maintenance as well as the areas thereof inseparable restoration , conservation and urban and village renewal .

The 11th denkmal took place from November 6th to 8th, 2014 with the central subject of historical facades - stucco.plaster.color. Norway was the sixth partner country of the leading European trade fair after Italy, France, Hungary, Poland and Russia. Despite the rail strikes during the entire fair, the number of visitors remained almost constant at 13,100. 434 exhibitors from 17 countries took part.

The 12th denkmal took place from November 10 to 12, 2016.

The 13th denkmal took place on November 8-10, 2018. [outdated]

The 14th denkmal will take place from November 5th to 7th, 2020.

monument Russia - Moscow

The monument Russia - Moscow is a joint project of Leipziger Messe and Renovators Association of Russia.

The Moscow event is based on the success concept of the denkmal in Leipzig and ties in with the longstanding relationships of the Leipzig trade fair organizers with companies, institutions, administrations and associations in Russia. The Moscow fair reflects the special needs of the Russian market. The main focus is on the conversion of historical buildings under modern conditions. The fair also places a stronger focus on icon painting and the restoration of churches and monasteries. The fair brings together all areas of the preservation of cultural assets : the restoration of wood, precious and natural stone work, textiles , ceramics , frescoes , paintings and mosaics. The denkmal in Moscow is aimed at construction companies, specialized craftsmen, preservationists, specialist authorities, architects, planners, museums, private, church and public builders and investors. Germany has been represented at this fair with an official joint stand since 2013. In 2017, an international youth restoration competition started at the denkmal Russia - Moscow, which takes place in the even years during the denkmal in Leipzig. At the last denkmal Russia - Moscow, 3,600 visitors found out about the offers of the 110 exhibitors. 19 exhibitors came from Germany.

The 1st monument Moscow took place from September 29th to October 1st, 2011.

The 2nd monument Moscow took place from October 3rd to 5th, 2013.

The 3rd monument Moscow took place from October 14th to 16th, 2015.

The 4th denkmal Russia - Moscow took place from November 8th to 10th, 2017.

The 5th denkmal Russia - Moscow took place from 5th to 7th November 2019 in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow.
