Dennis Engel (born October 20, 1995 in Oldenburg ) is a German football player .

Career

Engel played at VfL Oldenburg up to U-17 and moved to VfB Oldenburg in 2012 . There he was on the pitch for both the U-19s and the second team. In January 2015, the 1.84 m tall defender was accepted into the first team. On July 23, 2016, Engel moved to Sportfreunde Lotte in the 3rd division and reached the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup with the team . At the end of the season, Engel moved to the Regionalliga Nord for SSV Jeddeloh , with whom he reached the final of the Lower Saxony Cup. In the summer of 2018, the transfer to SV Rödinghausen in the Regionalliga West followed . With Rödinghausen he won the Westphalia Cup in 2019 .

In August 2019, his contract in Rödinghausen was terminated by mutual agreement and Dennis Engel joined league rivals Sportfreunde Lotte . A year later he moved to VfB Oldenburg.
