Denyssiwka ( Ukrainian Денисівка ; Russian Денисовка Denissowka ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 880 inhabitants (2001).
The village was founded in the 17th century is the administrative center of the same name, 43.994 km² District Municipality in the en of Rajon Orschyzja to which even the now deserted village Teremezke ( Теремецьке , ⊙ ) and the village Tschmychalowe ( Чмихалове , ⊙ ) with about 140 inhabitants heard.
The village is located on the right bank of the Orschyzja ( Оржиця ), a 29-km long right tributary of Sula , 16 km northwest of the Rajonzentrum Orschyzja and 160 km west of the Oblastzentrum Poltava .
