Deo Volente ( Latin for so god willing ) is the second solo album by the German rapper D-Bo . It was released in February 2005 via Bushido's music label ersguterjunge . It was re-released in 2008.
D-Bo took over the production himself, with some titles together with DJ Ilan .
Guest Posts
The album includes guest contributions from Aisha, Saad and Bass Sultan Hengzt . For the latter, this guest post was the last release on the ersguterjunge label .
Style and reception
The lyrics of the album, the title of which refers to the Christian faith D-Bos, are rather melancholy. The fact that he consistently represents his own, dark, honest and self-reflection style was positively highlighted in a review on hiphop.de. Rap.de also praises the credibility of the artist, but notes that the album “could have been a little more sophisticated”.
Musically, the album is based on other releases of the label.
