The Club Centro Deportivo Municipal is a football club in the Peruvian capital Lima . In the 2006 season, the team won the championship in the second Peruvian league ( Segunda División Peruana ) and thus made it to the Primera División , the highest Peruvian football class. In 1938, 1940, 1943 and 1950 Deportivo Municipal won the Peruvian national championship in the second Peruvian division.
