www.mord.de is a German television film by Hans Werner from 2000 based on a script by Tobias Siebert . It is the 29th episode of the crime series Der Bulle von Tölz with Ottfried Fischer as the main actor in the role of Chief Inspector Benno Berghammer. It was first broadcast on October 4, 2000 on Sat.1 .

action

The new branch manager of the “Alpenländische Kreditbank”, Doris Janker, finds computer expert Conny Rauscher dead in his wife Trixi's internet café. He was killed by a violent impact with the back of his head against the edge of a table. The commissioners Benno Berghammer and Sabrina Lorenz poke in the fog, especially since it is unclear whether it is an accident or a homicide. None of the people interviewed can imagine why someone should kill Conny Rauscher. His wife is the beneficiary of his life insurance in the amount of one million marks, and she has a secret relationship with her regular customer Florian Scherer, who is now taking care of the orders that Conny Rauscher has landed. However, no sufficient suspicion can be derived from this.

Resi Berghammer arranges a blind date for her son Benno in the "Café Edelweiß" with Martina Scherer via the Internet . She didn't arrange the meeting herself either, but her son Florian. The two couples get on well with each other, but the superintendent soon finds out about Martina's big problem: She is addicted to gambling and only recently lost 300,000 marks. The Sparkasse Board Member Dr. Schmiedle admits under pressure that Gerhard Schillinger, Mrs. Janker's predecessor, embezzled the same amount. The matter was hushed up out of concern for the bank's image; as reparation, Schillinger had to transfer his house to the bank. The commissioners do not believe in a coincidence, but Gerhard Schillinger denies any connection with Martina Scherer. After Berghammer and Lorenz have left the property, Schillinger goes to Mrs. Scherer and wants to know from her where the 300,000 marks came from, which she gambled away in the casino. At first she doesn't want to tell him anything, but when he waves her with a loan of 100,000 marks, she tells him that she got the money from her son. Then he buttoned up Florian and insinuated that he had hacked into the bank, withdrew the money and made it look as if it was him, Schillinger, because he hadn't received a loan. When the commissioners arrive, Schillinger asks them to arrest Florian for stealing from the bank. Florian confesses that he did it for his mother. Benno Berghammer turns to Gerhard Schillinger and advises him to also make a confession. Schillinger says it wasn't on purpose. He suspected Conny Rauscher of having stolen the money because he installed the bank's computer system and was therefore very familiar with it. During a visit to the internet café he had hoped for a confession, but Rauscher reacted arrogantly and made fun of him and his family. Then he freaked out and gave him a push.
