The gangster-Code , also known as Lou Ferrante: Organized crime is a British crime film - documentary series of the transmitter Discovery Channel , hosted by ex- Mafioso Louis Ferrante .

Louis Ferrante, a former member of the Gambino family of the American Cosa Nostra , uses his insider knowledge to dive into the world of various notorious gangs after serving eight and a half years in a maximum security prison . From El Salvador and the Philippines, to Italy and Poland, he tries to investigate the origins and machinations of these gangs from both inside and outside the prison.
