The Purimszpiler (Yiddish פורים שפילער, Polish Błazen purymowy ) is a Yiddish-language film from Poland from 1937 .

Based on a text by Joseph Bulow, the film tells the story of a Purim player, an actor in the traditional, exuberant theater performances of the Jewish festival of Purim .

The film should build on the great success Yidl mitn Fidl by the same producer and director Joseph Green .
