Max Bozyk
Max Bożyk (born May 3, 1899 in Łódź , † April 5, 1970 in New York City ) was a Polish actor of Jewish origin.
Life
Bozyk began his acting career in the Jewish theater in Poland. At the theater he also met his wife Reizl Bozyk . Bozyk starred in several Polish films. In 1939 he emigrated with his wife and daughter to Argentina and in 1941 to New York City, where both played in Jewish theaters for over thirty years.
In 1970 Bozyk collapsed after performing at New York Town Hall and passed away. He is buried next to his wife Reizl in Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing , Queens .
