Heidi Richter works as a shoe seller and her two children, with whom she is alone, a loving mother, and nobody wants to trust her evil. But there is one thing she cannot do: get by with the money. Her wishes are always greater than her income, and she is always in need of money. With ever new swindles and downright ingenious technology, she borrows everyone she comes into contact with. It gets entangled in ever new debts, and what has just been borrowed is no longer enough to pay even part of the most urgent debts.
