The Taunuskrimi is a German television film series on ZDF . The films are based on the bestselling novels by Nele Neuhaus . The series is produced by Annette Reeker . Eight novels have been filmed since 2013.

At the Kripo Hofheim investigates the duo Pia Sander, divorced Kirchhoff, and Oliver von Bodenstein. In the Taunus region, the two get closer to the suspects and their motives and often look into the depths of the soul. Sander's ex-husband, Dr. Henning Kirchhoff, works as a forensic doctor in the same team.
