NGC 6446 is a 15.2 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Hercules . It is an estimated 311 million light years away from the Milky Way and forms a gravitationally bound double galaxy with NGC 6447
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on July 9, 1864 .
