NGC 6454 is a 13.7 mag bright galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type S? in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky , which is an estimated 417 million light years from the Milky Way .
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on April 19, 1885 .
