NGC 6476 is a multi- star star cloud in the constellation Sagittarius . It was discovered on July 15, 1836 by John Herschel during an observation with an 18-inch reflector telescope and called “Nebula. No descriptions. It is probably only a nebulous portion of the milky way ”. Despite these notes, she got an entry in the catalog.
