NGC 6449 is a 13.8 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Dragon at the northern sky , an estimated 244 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center.
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on April 19, 1885 .
