NGC 6425 is an open star cluster in the constellation Scorpio and has an angular extent of 10.0 'and an apparent magnitude of 7.2 mag. It was discovered by John Herschel on August 3, 1834 and is also known as OCL 1033, ESO 455-SC8 .
