NGC 6419 is a 14.8 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Dracheam northern sky , an estimated 364 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. The galaxy NGC 6423 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on August 17, 1883 .
